SUMMARY

I will be doing idea 2, the legalisation of cannabis.  In the Podcast, I will be talking about the pros and cons of the plant being legalised. I also will compare the uk's situation to america's, where its legal in a lot of states for recreational, and medical use.

Sound effects

In my podcast, I will use a few different sound effects in order to make it interesting to listen to.

    1) Lighter - Using my phone, I will record the sound of one on my friends lighting a cigarette in        order to get this sound. To reduce the background noise in the recording, i will edit it in audition so its as clear as possible.

        2) The sound of someone exhaling - I will record one of my friends blowing out 

            cigarette smoke using my phone. To make the audio clear i will edit out the background noise in audition. 

        3) The sound of someone smoking weed using a bong - To get this sound, i will record my 

             friend blowing bubbles into water to simulate what it would actually sound like. 

             I will record this with the microphone on my phone. To reduce the background noise in the                 recording, i will edit it in audition.

Atmospheric sounds

In my podcast, i will use atmospheric sounds in order to set the location and scene of what i am talking about. 

1) Street sounds - I will go out and record what i can hear on the street of town with my phone. I will use this as a transition between topics, also i will use this to set the scene of where and what i am talking about. 

2) Sounds of a police car - I will go near the police station in Cambridge and wait for a police car to leave with its sirens on, i will record this using my phone. 

Music

I will use music in my podcast to create a smooth opening and a smooth ending to my podcast, making it easy to listen to. The music i use, will be royalty free and will reflect the mood of the podcast. It will fade in and out so it doesn't just abruptly end or start. 

Dialogue

In my podcast i will be talking most of the way through talking about the different topics and points. However i will also include 2/3 interviews in it to get other people's opinions on the topic. I will interview people that are for the legalisation or cannabis and people who are against it.
